Fountain of Youth

I am 33 years old. Yup, as much as a I hate to admit it, I have existed for thirty three years on this planet we call earth. Let's put it this way: In 7 years, I will be forty. YIKES! Now that's scary. Middle-age crisis just waiting around the corner for me. If the average lifespan for men is 70, then I'm already more than half-way into my life. And there is still so much more to life for me to experience. Marriage, parenthood etc. still looming on the horizon for this 33 year old. But on the brightside, I am a ' YOUNG ' 33. Honestly, I don't feel a tad older than 15. I may look old, but I don't FEEL old. I still love the things I loved 20 years ago. I will now share with you some tips on how to retain your youth, without having to resort to liposuction or cosmetic surgery...
-Watch cartoons. Spongebob Squarepants, The Simpsons, South Park, Kim Possible(!?)- most of the cartoons nowadays have adult humor disguised underneath slapstick eye-candy, so even adults can relate.
-Play Video Games. I know, I'm being biased on this one. But trust me, you get more than better hand-eye coordination playing the PS3, XBOX360 and Wii. Playing video games is like playing pretend, Just a lot more immersive. When I was a kid, I had to imagine I was a soldier in a war scenario, firing my toy gun at imaginary foes. Now, all I have to do is play Call of Duty 2 or Gears of War and I'm instantly in a virtual warzone. Or I can drop 80 points like Kobe on NBA2k7 for the XBOX, and not break a sweat. You wanna be silly? Play Wii sports or Viva Pinata. Video Games let you re-live your greatest childhood fantasies.
-Wear Hip Clothes. If you're applying for a job at Fortune 500 company, wearing Abercrombie & Fitch won't get you hired. But if you're just hanging out at the mall or dropping by Mcdonald's for a quick bite, go for comfort over style. Wear what the kids wear. Hollister, Von Dutch, Quicksilver. For footwear, Nike Air Force One's and old skool Adidas go well with anything. Two words: Hip and Comfortable.
-Stay Fit. No matter how hard you try to look cool, you won't fit in with your beer-belly sticking out and screaming: 'Im OLD!!!' Hit the gym and go for cardio work-outs: treadmill, power cycle, tae-bo or boxing. It will keep you trim and in shape. Giving you back the body you had 10-15 years ago. Of course, a healthy lifestyle includes a healthy diet.
-Watch Mtv. Mtv is more than Music Videos. They also have the silly shows like Punk'd, Yo Momma and Boiling Point. Laguna Beach and TRL are essential youth shows as well. Be in the know with what's hot in music, showbiz and fashion. At least you know who and what the kids are talking about these days.
-Listen to Pop Music. If you've never heard of Mims and Daughtry, then you don't know your music. Both artists hit #1 on the Billboard singles and albums chart. Leave M.C Hammer and Debbie Gibson in the past. 'nuff said.
-Visit a Toy Store. It's actually my favorite spot in the mall. Check out the action figure selection, especially the one's by Mcfarlane toys. They're good enough to be considered works of art and put on display in your room. The articulation and detail on these babies are incredible.
-Date Someone much Younger than You. It works for me. Why should'nt it work for You?
